Maria Vdovichenko, an 18-year-old refugee from Mariupol, in an interview with the editor-in-chief of the GORDON publication, Ales Batsman, spoke about how her family met the war, how they spent two weeks in a basement under bombardment, about bullying and beatings in filtration camps, which were set up by Russian invaders, how the experience undermined her mother's health and cost her father's life, as well as about the victory of Ukraine and what Ukraine will be like after the war.
