I was born on October 21, 1967, in Kyiv. I graduated from the Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute.
I began working in the media while still a student. After graduating, instead of working in my specialty, I was assigned to the newspaper Vechirniy Kyiv. In 1995, I founded my own weekly newspaper Bulvar.
Since 1999, I have been the author and host of the television program Visiting Dmytro Gordon. In late November 2013, following the start of the Euromaidan and the Revolution of Dignity, I launched the socio-political online publication GORDON. I was also an active participant in the Euromaidan protests.
I am the author of dozens of books and the owner of two YouTube channels with a combined audience of more than 7 million subscribers. During my career, I have conducted more than 1,100 interviews, including with former and current heads of state: former Presidents of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk and Viktor Yushchenko, current President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, former Presidents of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski and Bronisław Komorowski, former President of Latvia Egils Levits, former President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid, President of Moldova Maia Sandu, and former Presidents of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze and Mikheil Saakashvili.
