I graduated from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University with a degree in Cultural Studies. However, I have never worked in my field of study, instead building my career as a journalist, editor, and occasionally a portrait photographer.

I learned the fundamentals of news reporting at the Kharkiv-based outlet MediaPort. I have worked for the online publication GORDON since 2015 – sometimes taking breaks, but always returning. I mainly specialize in political topics but dream of one day starting a column about cats and writing exclusively about them.

I practice swing dancing, collect perfumes, enjoy traveling, read fantasy literature, and like watching videos of Pallas’s cats.
