New publisher launched in Ukraine focuses on science fiction and historical nonfiction 

The project was founded by IT entrepreneur Ruslan Nonka. The publishing team consists of professionals with more than 10 years of experience in the industry who have worked with authors and literary agencies from around the world.

"Our conscious choice is to work with books that have ideas, substance, and character", – the publisher said.

According to the team, the books it plans to publish are intended not only to engage readers with compelling stories but also to raise challenging questions and encourage a deeper understanding of people, society, and the future.

Lobster said it places particular emphasis on the quality of translations and the visual design of its editions. The publisher is also working to build long-term partnerships with international literary agencies.

Among the first titles announced by Lobster are We Are Legion (We Are Bob) by Dennis E. Taylor, the opening novel in the Bobiverse science fiction series; Vagabonds, a science fiction novel by Chinese author Hao Jingfang; and Congo: The Epic History of a People by Belgian historian and writer David Van Reybrouck.
