16 августа Мадонна отпразднует 60-летие.

У певицы четверо приемных детей: Мерси Джеймс, Дэвид Банда, близнецы Стелла и Эстер. Все они родились в Малави. Родные дети певицы – сын Рокко и дочь Лурдес. 

Мадонна родилась в штате Мичиган. В 1978 году она переехала в Нью-Йорк ради карьеры в танцевальной труппе. Сначала исполнительница была участницей рок-групп, а позже начала сольную карьеру.
